Animal Conservation at Tairua School

Have a look at the efforts of Tairua School. They put together an action plan for raising funds to help proserve particular native species.

SKATE SCHOOL!!

We were very lucky to have Luke from Cheapskates come and teach us some basic skateboard and rollerblading skills.
The students put up with a cold wind and some sore bottoms and knees but a lot of laughs were had. Congratulations to Alice Thorp for getting the prize at the end. She was awarded this because she had quite a lot of big spills but kept getting up.

The Masks Created in Term 1

The students worked very hard in term 1 to create some unique masks to represent themselves.
