Ambassador and Eco Teams in Action
Last week four of our leaders did a great job of showcasing our school to a group of visitors from Japan. They were particularly interested in our Enviro-schools programme and had a great time while they were here. Excellent job team!

Sonic First Aid
Today we had Paula from St John's come and teacher us about basic first aid. Thanks to Jaimee and Lily for organising the session and hopefully we will be able to write DRSABC and bandaging in out pathways.
Cycle trip to Lincoln and Bowls
On Friday we cycled to Lincoln along the rail trail. We had to be extra careful in Lincoln and we learnt some valuable road safety lessons. Our swim at the High School pool had to be cut short due to another class but we all enjoyed the chance to use the deeper pool and do some experimenting with pool entries. When we finished at the pool we walked to the bowling green and had our final bowling session with Amy. Awesome effort Sonic - A+ Adventurous.

PALs Training Day
PALs stands for physical activity leaders. Recently a group of Sonic students took part in a training day run by The Selwyn Sport Trust where they learnt how to become awesome PALs for our school. We look forward to seeing them take this leadership opportunity further.
