We get to the weta stand and the guy starts talking about where weta’s live and how big they get.
Did you know that the weta is the biggest insect in the world and the biggest weta record weighed 70 grams. That's pretty big considering it's an insect.
Did you know that there are over 120 species of weta in New Zealand.
Next he brought out a massive tree weta. The creature slowly came out of his little house and onto people’s hands. It’s giant head and eyes searching for food. It’s massive legs with knife like spikes threaten everything in it’s path. It comes to me looking like a killer. It crawls onto my hand - “Hey it tickles." Weta's aren't so scary after all!
